Meet our Newest Library friends--- Dash and Dot!

Students at Concord have been working with some new friends in the library-Dash and Dot.  Through tinkering with the robots, coding becomes the language of play.  Students are exploring the world of coding and robotics while they turn their ideas into adventures. Creation Station

Check out these amazing creations by our students in the library.  They were given supplies to create and decorate their gingerbread houses.  Many collaborated and worked in unison to design these awesome creations.

Halloween Celebrations in the Library

The Annual Halloween Library Estimate

Students in grades K-5 took part in the annual Halloween Estimate Chance.  They put their estimation skills to work to guess the number of candy pumpkins in the jar.

Makey Makey in the Library

Students connected to the real world with Makey Makey kits. Banana Bongos to hand drawn controllers for Pac-Mac and Super Mario students explored what they could make.

Students Communicating in a Digital-Age

Students built scenes from favorite books using LEGOs.  With the help of new software, students are able to take their creation into presentation mode and share with classmates.
