Students Communicating in a Digital-Age

Students built scenes from favorite books using LEGOs.  With the help of new software, students are able to take their creation into presentation mode and share with classmates.

Students enjoyed a virtual trip to the zoo with Capstone Interactive ebooks.  They chose from sea turtles, meerkats, crabs, fireflies, and more.

Operation

This week 3rd grade students played the game Operation.  The game board works by creating a simple circuit.  Next week students will build their own.

Electrons Light the Way

4th & 5th grade students built challenging circuits.  They made speakers play music, and lightbulbs light.

5th grade Challenge

5th graders were reminded of

the importance of working together when they were given the Gumdrop Challenge. With limited resources and a short amount of time, 5th graders put their heads together to come up with the best solution!
